It’s an exciting time in obesity management and there are many new safe and effective medications that are now available. Read below to learn more about these options.

Weight Loss Medications

There are a variety of FDA-approved medications for weight management. Our professionals are well versed in the use of these medications. Patients who have a BMI of 27 and one other health condition such as high blood pressure, sleep apnea, and high cholesterol, or patients with a BMI 30 or greater are candidates for GLP 1 therapy (Glucagon-like peptide). These medications slow the movement of food from your stomach and as a result you feel fuller faster and eat less.

We can use any of the following medications:

  • Ozempic (Semaglutide)
  • Wegovy (Semaglutide)
  • Zepbound (Trizepatide)
  • Mounjaro (Trizepatide)

We can work with your local pharmacy or through compounding pharmacies once the choice of medication has been decided. If your insurance covers these medications, you may pay as little as $25 dollars a month. Private pay prescriptions are also available.

B12 and Lipo-Lean Injections

These injections can boost energy and help metabolize fat cells. Patients who have undergone weight loss surgery often have low B12 levels, and we can supplement this loss through injections.

IV Therapy

Monarch now offers IV Therapy to enhance other healthcare treatments and help with a variety of conditions. Our nurse practitioner can determine which is best for you.

  • Monarch Mocktail – Had a little too much fun Friday night? In need of a hangover cure. Try our special restorative treatment.
  • Monarch Immunity – Coming down with a cold or fighting the flu? Experience a burst of Vitamin C and Zinc.
  • Monarch Hydrate – Patients who have undergone weight loss surgery often do not absorb key nutrients and are chronically depleted.
