Facial aging occurs as a result of many factors, including sun exposure, heredity, and lifestyle. As we age, the natural support layers in the skin — including collagen and elastin — break down, resulting in wrinkles.
Soft tissue fillers may be used to enhance or restore facial contours, or reduce the appearance of creases or wrinkles. Some fillers give immediate results, while others minimize the appearance of wrinkles or folds over time.
Juvéderm® ULTRA and Juvéderm® ULTRA PLUS
Juvéderm ULTRA and Juvéderm ULTRA PLUS are formulated with hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance that helps hydrate the skin. Recent studies show that these products promote collagen production and diminish the appearance of wrinkles and nasolabial folds. They have been FDA approved to last up to one year.
Voluma XC is the first FDA-approved injectable gel that instantly adds volume to the cheeks and cheek area to combat signs of aging in adults aged 21 and over. An optimal treatment will provide the desired shape and volume for up to two years after injection. Voluma is completely non-surgical and contains lidocaine to make your procedure as comfortable as possible.
Radiesse dermal filler is an injectable for volume restoration, facial folds and wrinkles. This product is made of the natural material, Calcium hydroxylapatite (a biocompatible material identical in composition to the mineral portion of teeth and bone). Radiesse adds fullness to the face immediately after injection. Its ability to promote collagen production results in an effect that lasts up to 18 months.
