Dr. Lindsay Abbott
A native Kansan, Dr. Abbott earned her Bachelor's degree at the University of Kansas, where she studied microbiology and English. In 2009, she graduated with her M.D. from the University of Kansas School of Medicine, ranking at the top of her class and earning membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. She then continued her medical training at Wright State University in Dayton, OH, where she completed her six-year training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. She is now excited to return to her home state to serve the Kansas City community.
Dr. Abbott enjoys practicing the broad spectrum of plastic surgery and is proficient in a wide range of reconstructive and cosmetic procedures. She is known for her caring and compassionate demeanor, and her focus on the human side of medicine. She also values involvement in her local community and has participated in grant writing and landscaping design for urban neighborhood beautification. She has also participated in medical missions to Haiti and Honduras and wishes to continue this work throughout her career.
