Injectable Fillers: Juvederm®, Restylane®, Radiesse® and Sculptra®

Facial aging occurs as a result of many factors including sun exposure, heredity and life style. As we age, the natural support layers, including collagen, break down resulting in the formation of wrinkles. Fillers may be used to enhance or restore facial contours, or reduce the appearance of creases or wrinkles.

Restylane and Juvaderm are forms of Hyaluronic acid, a natural occurring substance in the body. These fillers are most frequently injected into the nasolabial fold, deeper wrinkles, lips and concave scars. These products may last four to six months or longer.

Longer-lasting fillers include Radiesse and Sculptra. More than one injection may be needed, but results can last up to 12-18 months or longer

Human Fat harvested from the patient's own body can be re-injected to enhance facial or lip fullness and fill deep creases. This is a more extensive procedure than injecting other fillers. Results may last up to a year and are variable.

At the time of consultation your individual needs and the most appropriate filler will be discussed.
